Our Privacy Commitment: Flock is built on the principle of "Privacy by Design." We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data because we do not collect it.
1. Principles of Data Minimalism
Flock operates as a spatial audit tool, not a data harvester. Our core philosophy is that your physical workspace is your private domain. We believe that AI can provide immense value without requiring a profile of your personal life.
2. Visual Data Processing
When you use Flock to scan your environment:
No Image Storage: Images captured for visual noise and light analysis are processed in volatile memory (RAM) and are deleted immediately after the analysis is complete.
Local Computation: Where hardware permits, AI inference is performed locally on your device.
No Facial Recognition: Our algorithms are trained to detect objects (lamps, monitors, desks) and light patterns, not human faces or identifying biological traits.
3. Non-Collection of Personal Information
Flock does not require an account for its core auditing functions. We do not collect:
Your name, address, or phone number.
Your precise GPS location.
Your contact lists or microphone audio.
Metadata linked to your physical identity.
4. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
In accordance with California law, we inform you that since Flock does not collect personal data, there is no data to "sell" or "share." You have the right to know that your interaction with the app remains anonymous by default.
5. Third-Party Services
If Flock utilizes third-party cloud processing for complex AI calculations, data is transmitted via encrypted tunnels and is subject to "Immediate Purge" protocols, ensuring no visual data is retained on external servers.
